What is a Neighborhood Fave?
Neighborhood Faves are annual awards that are given to local businesses. These awards give customers the chance to celebrate and show their appreciation for local businesses in their neighborhood while helping promote these services to the rest of the community.
In the case of Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital, we have been presented with this award because we provide animals with exceptional care and for giving our patients and clients positive experiences every time they visit our animal hospital.
How are the winners of this award determined?
The Neighborhood Fave awards are based on a voting system that allows locals to praise and share their opinions on businesses in the area. There is a one-month voting period in which votes can be accumulated. At the end of this period, the top 10 businesses with the most votes will receive a Neighborhood Fave award.
Businesses must first be enrolled on the nextdoor website. Once signed up, others with accounts on the site will be able to vote for whichever business they deem deserving of the award. Businesses can reach out to their customers and ask that they vote for them if they would like, and leave any comments about the business for other potential customers to see.
